£20,000 towards the cost of refurbishing a centre in Exeter providing social, learning and life skills to children and adults with disabilities.

CEDA, based in the outskirts of Exeter, was founded in 1988 to promote the respect, independence and equality which disabled people have a right to, through providing learning and life skills in a safe, accessible, supported and social environment.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation supported CEDA with a £20,000 capital grant towards a full upgrade, refurbishment and redecoration of its present building, which the organisation has occupied since 2004. With help from Trusthouse, CEDA were able to upgrade their kitchen, create a new soft play room, install a kiln in the art studio, upgrade the disabled toilets, and redecorate and replaster throughout the building.
