£17,200 grant towards costs for fitting out a new TwentyTwenty training centre in Leicester.

TwentyTwenty works with disadvantaged, deprived and hard to reach young people and NEETs aged 11-19, helping them to thrive in education and achieve long term employment. A grant from Trusthouse supported them to fit out a building in Leicester city centre and bring all of their services together under one roof.

The new centre offers courses from 6 weeks to 2 years with course content designed in conjunction with local employers to ensure desired employability and enterprise is built in.  Teaching is interactive, in small groups and paced so that each person can gain the necessary core and vocational qualifications. They expect more than 100 young people to benefit from the centre in its first year, and are well on their way to achieving this goal.
