All Change Arts

£6,500 towards the salary costs for a Project Officer at an arts charity in Islington engaging young people in various projects and providing pastoral support.

All Change Arts was set up in 1985 to use the medium of arts to promote personal and community development, education and positive change and works with more than 750 young people in the London Borough of Islington each year. A grant from Trusthouse Charitable Foundation was used to fund the salary of the Project Officer, a role which includes making initial contact and engaging with participants, providing practical and pastoral support during projects, identifying opportunities for learning and tackling barriers to learning, and tracking progress.

Recent projects include Something Different, a combined arts project for young people using dance, digital arts, music and creative writing, and The B project, a peer-led initiative, set up to explore what young women aged 13-19 want to do in their spare time.
