Norfolk Hospice Tapping House

£100,000 towards the building costs of a new hospice in West Norfolk.

Trusthouse supported Norfolk Hospice Tapping House to build a new hospice in the North West area of Norfolk and the Fens. The area, centred around Kings Lynn, had no dedicated in-patient hospice. It is anticipated that 3,400 people will use the new hospice to begin with, rising to 7,000 people a year when all services are fully operational.

Trusthouse’s  grant went towards a specialist transition unit for young adults. The unit’s main purpose will be to offer stabilisation and end of life care as well as accustoming young adults to an adult hospice atmosphere.
